Bath Half Marathon Road Closures extended

We are extremely sorry to say that we have had to take the decision to cancel this Sunday 16th March Afternoon Dance and Workshop. As you might be aware, this was a schedule change following the flooding to our Bradford-on-Avon venue. Having previously successfully operated the dance on the weekend of the Bath Half Marathon, we were assured that this would be of no consequence, infact sometimes it had been both quieter and easier than normal to park on the Sunday afternoon.

Extended Road Closures

However we were more recently made aware that the road closures are not planned to be lifted in the early afternoon but will infact be in place until 5pm. In the light of this, it would have caused some considerable inconvenience to those travelling to the dance particularly by car; if you could have made it at all, it would have proved difficult. We are extremely sorry to have to cancel but hope you understand it was with care and thought for our dancers in wanting everyone to have an enjoyable, hassle free afternoon. We look forward to seeing you at a future dance instead. We will of course either refund or transfer all bookings according to preferences although please bear with us as we work through the list.

Viva La Dance run a range of dance classes in Bath & Trowbridge catering for beginners to higher level dancers in Ballroom, Latin American & Argentine Tango. We teach a huge number of dancers across and beyond these areas including Corsham, Chippenham, Devizes, Keynsham, Saltford, Bristol, Bradford on Avon, Melksham, Warminster, Westbury, Frome, Radstock, Swindon and further afield. Learning to dance is a wonderful journey, but you need to be patient. If you are prepared to make a few mistakes, and are keen to learn, we can teach you. We teach a broad range of styles in our partner dance world: waltz, quickstep, Viennese waltz, Tango, Slow Foxtrot, Social Foxtrot, cha cha cha, rumba, jive, paso doble, samba and Argentine tango. Some are easier to get going than others but all of them together make for a great time at any party, dance, ball or other occasion and open up a whole world of fun, friends and laughter.
