Getting Here, Parking & Overnight Stays

Our dance weekend is hosted at the famous ballrooms of the Assembly Rooms suite in the world heritage city of Bath, South-West UK.

By Car

There is limited on-street pay and display, and on-street off-peak free parking nearby to the venue. It is worth giving some prior thought to where you would like to park and plannig ahead with that in mind. One of the nearest car parks nearby is Charlotte Street Car Park which is a 24 hour pay and display, also accepting card payments:

Bath is also served by three Park and Ride facilities, more details of which are here (external website). The Park and Rides have no late night returning buses but from our enquiries we believe it is still possible to exit the car park overnight at any time.

By Rail

Bath Spa train station is the main railway station in Bath and is very well served via trains to London Paddington, Swindon, Cardiff, Bristol, Reading, Southampton and beyond via connecting routes. The station is approximately 15 minutes gentle uphill walk to the Assembly Rooms, or about 8-10 minutes by taxi depending on the traffic.

Bath is an extremely popular city for visitors and for any overnight stays it is worthwhile booking well in advance. All types of stay are well catered for in the city.
