Classes are pre-paid half-termly, typically for 5-8 weeks. An Annual Membership is included in any course, or may be purchased separately for other events and private lesson discounts. Please pre-book for all dance classes in advance. Payment is now only online in advance, we cannot accept payment at any venues. Existing members can pay subscriptions by clicking here.

Occasionally our Monday classes are either hosted at the Roman Baths, via the main entrance, or Hayesfield School when the Guildhall is unavailable. Details of how to find the correct hall at Hayesfield school are here.

Viva La Dance run a range of dance classes in Bath & Trowbridge catering for beginners to higher level dancers in Ballroom, Latin American & Argentine Tango. We teach a huge number of dancers across and beyond these areas including Corsham, Chippenham, Devizes, Keynsham, Saltford, Bristol, Bradford on Avon, Melksham, Warminster, Westbury, Frome, Radstock, Swindon and further afield. Many travel long distances to take private lessons with us too. Why not see if we have a class within striking distance of you?


Learning to dance is a wonderful journey, but you need to be patient. If you are prepared to make a few mistakes, and are keen to learn, we can teach you. We teach a broad range of styles in our partner dance world: waltz, quickstep, Viennese waltz, Tango, Slow Foxtrot, Social Foxtrot, cha cha cha, rumba, jive, paso doble, samba and Argentine tango. Some are easier to get going than others but all of them together make for a great time at any party, dance, ball or other occasion and open up a whole world of fun, friends and laughter.
